She is a beautiful young girl called Valerie (Amanda Seyfried), who finds herself caught between two men. She is in love with a shy boy Peter (Shiloh Fernández), but her parents have organized a marriage for her to Henry, a young rich boy (Max Irons). Before they will face being separated, Valerie and Peter plan to run away, but their plans fall apart when Valerie's sister is killed by a werewolf.
